I’m so excited about this butterbeer recipe! It is easy to make. The first time I saw the characters of Harry Potter enjoying this tasty drink we knew we had to have it.
So today I’m taking you right to Hogsmeade for a vegan trip with the most perfect vegan butterbeer !!!
Ingredients
50g vegetable butter
50cl amber beer
1 pinch all spices
20ml whiskey
6 tbsp butterscotch
2 bar spoon syrup
6 tbsp aquafaba
butterscotch cream
4 tablespoons vegan butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon large-flake salt
1/2 cup soy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or 1 vanilla bean)
30ml whiskey
Preparation

Melt the butter in a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan (not non-stick) over medium heat.
Add the brown sugar, salt and heavy cream and stir the mixture with a rubber spatula until it's well blended. Bring the mixture to a boil, scraping down the sides occasionally, and boil it for 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Transfer the butterscotch sauce to a container to cool.
Butterbeer
In a medium size pan melt the vegan butter, then add the beer and the all spice and warm it up.
In a shaker the rest of the ingredients and shake to emulsify everything and make the aquafaba fluffy.
Add first the aquafaba mixture then top it with the warm beer 🍺
